My Story
The American GED Center is the result of years of experience with the Nepalese school system and working for the needs of Nepalese students who do not fit the standardized mold of the current educational system. Some students had difficulties in +2 while other student didn't want to wait two years before leaving Nepal and go to university. The birth of the American GED Center happened in 2011 while helping a seventeen year old Nepalese youth prepare for and ultimately passing his American GED exams. He had no SLC and was an average student in his Nepalese school. This young man is now studying at an American university and will graduate in 2017. Since that time I have worked with other Nepalese youths to gain education from local schools as well as preparing them for the American GED in Nepal. During the six years I have been in Nepal, I found myself always drawn to the educational challenges of Nepal. I understand the difficulties of the current system and feel the American GED Center is a good way to fill the gap for students who have different situations and +2 is not the best option. We at the American GED Center are committed to helping students reach their goals whether it is to move on to a higher education in Nepal or abroad. I have committed myself to provide high quality teachers and a safe clean environment.
